  1. Meet you and your team (preferably in person as we are a people business).
  2. Get to understand your business. What do you do? How do you do it?
  3. Understand your requirements and any problems that you are facing.
  4. Review your current finance systems and processes and understand where your pain points currently are.

2. Design

  1. Design the processes that we are going to introduce.
  2. Understand your deadlines. When do you need to close the books, and when do you need information by?
  3. Establish how we will communicate with you and agree on the ways of working.
  4. Establish the systems and tech that we are going to introduce.
  5. Get set up with HMRC access.

3. Implementation and Go Live

  1. Services go live with transaction processing, reporting and insight to give you an accurate handle on exactly how the company is performing.
  2. Our finance function is now working as part of your own wider business team.

4. After Go Live

1. Continuous feedback and improvement. We have regular service updates with you to understand where further improvements can be made.

2. More insight and action as we look at trends and become embedded as part of your trusted team.

Remember, although we provide our services remotely, this is NOT a call centre type arrangement. You will have dedicated support from our team with real humans, so you will get to know them, and they will get to know you.

Typical packages for our Finance Outsourcing Services

Our fees are charged monthly and agreed with you in advance. We charge one month’s fee as a transition fee to set up the service. To give you some context on our fees, if you hire a bookkeeper directly, their annual salary will likely be £25k to £30k plus employment taxes. Our service allows you to access bookkeeping skills PLUS senior finance skills to help you with business growth and decision-making. Our fees for a fully outsourced finance team start at £695 per month plus VAT.

I have an existing finance team already – is this a problem?
Definitely not. We can work alongside your existing finance team. If required, we can also pass on our knowledge and expertise which may help improve experience across the whole team.
Do you actually send someone to my offices to work on my accounts?
This depends. Generally we like our people to be as closely aligned to your business as possible and we want them to be integral to your team. By working alongside you that relationship becomes more natural so if travel limitations can be managed we put people on site. However, we are big fans of using the latest cloud based accounting software which means that we can provide support remotely and supplement this with regular contact calls to keep you up to speed.
If I use your services do I need to switch off services with my current accountant?
Not necessarily. We have worked with clients who have built up great relationships with their existing accountants over the years and want to maintain that relationship. We are always respectful of this and will work with you in a way that means you will get the service that you need from us, but your existing accountants will continue to provide their existing services.
