Why B Corp matters to us
Becoming a certified B Corporation is not something we pursued lightly. For us, it is the formal recognition of values we have held since day one: that business should be good for people, good for the planet, and good for the communities it operates in.
The B Corp certification process is rigorous. It assessed every aspect of how we operate, from how we treat our team and serve our clients to how we manage our environmental impact and govern our business. Achieving certification means we have met independently verified standards and legally embedded our commitment to purpose alongside profit.
We are proud to join a global community of over 10,700 B Corps, and the UK’s largest and fastest-growing B Corp community, in demonstrating that a different way of doing business is possible. For our clients, many of whom are themselves building responsible, purpose-driven businesses, we hope it signals that their finance team shares their values.
This is not the end of the journey. It is the foundation for doing more.

Our Partnership with Treeapp
In September 2024, we took a significant step towards supporting the environment by partnering with Treeapp. As a certified B Corp organisation, Treeapp enables individuals to easily plant trees, helping to reduce carbon footprints and encouraging a more sustainable lifestyle.
Since joining Treeapp, Your Finance Team has planted over 700 trees, supporting the absorption of 68.7 tCO₂e over their lifetimes and reforesting 4,202 m² of land globally.
Our Treeapp projects span multiple continents, including forests in Burundi, Ethiopia, Guinea, Kenya, Madagascar and Tanzania in Africa; Brazil, Ecuador, Haiti and Peru in the Americas; and Indonesia, Nepal and the Philippines in Asia.
These efforts help restore biodiversity, stabilise land, create local jobs and contribute to meaningful climate action aligned with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (Climate Action, Life on Land, Quality Education and Responsible Consumption & Production).
