Background
Mark is a Chartered Management Accountant and a Xero certified advisor. He has 20 years’ experience working in senior financial management positions from small venture capital backed businesses to large FTSE 30 organisations. In 2015 mark set up YFT to bring a modern and customer-focused approach to small business accounting. “When I set up the firm the accountancy market was dominated by traditional accountants providing year end compliance services and tax returns but not much in the way of business insight and growth services, I was keen to bring commercial accounting skills to our clients so YFT was born ”
Expertise
Mark’s has a personal and entrepreneurial approach, combined with an ability to “talk finance with non-finance people”. Mark provides Finance director services to our clients and specialises in system automation using Xero and software apps that streamline client processes.

With 3 young children my roll outside work is largely acting as taxi driver and a bank to the children. I love a bit of 90’s music, so any Brit pop, Indie and old skool house music, when I get the odd bit of spare time you can find me reading the papers with a bacon sarnie.
