Financial Mentoring
The 1:1 mentoring programme is an established programme whereby a qualified and experienced commercial accountant acts as a mentor for a business leader. Typically these leaders are not from a financial background so the mentor provides support and technical assistance. This allows people to rapidly become proficient in key financial information and financial management and understand what they need to focus on to be more successful in their role. The programmes last as long as required and range from long term ongoing mentoring to a single day ‘crash course’ approach.

Group Mentoring
We also offer group mentoring sessions where business leaders join a forum of likeminded individuals to learn and share their experiences. Group sizes are limited to 6 people per session and we always aim to ensure that there are synergies across the group and businesses are non-competing – that way, the group bonds quickly. We ask group members to respect confidentiality at all times so people can talk candidly and openly about their businesses. The focus is typically on the financial management elements of business but discussions are often more diverse and cover a range of financial, operational and strategic issues. Places on these forums are limited and we cannot always guarantee space will be available.
